Buzzedword is a speech detection application designed to identify specific words within spoken content. Users can input a range of target words to monitor and assign unique alert sounds for each one.

Targeted towards virtual gatherings, online meetings, and debates, Buzzedword enables users to set multiple keywords for real-time monitoring during audio recordings. Upon detecting a specified word, it employs speech-to-text technology to notify users via an audible alert. The app allows for customization by enabling users to modify both keywords and alert tones.

To maximize effectiveness, it is recommended to use Buzzedword in environments with minimal background noise and with the phone placed close to the audio source, as background noise may impact the app's audio recognition capabilities.

Developed by partners Jimmy Jacobson and Charlie Schneider, in collaboration with lead sound engineer Kevin Getty and product consultants Jack Fogarty and Evangelos Sarantinos, Buzzedword offers a personalized speech detection experience.
